The packaging is the result of a partnership between Constellium, Chanel Fragrance &amp; Beauty, and luxury packaging specialist g.pivaudran.<\/p>\n<p>The solution incorporates between 10% to 20% post-consumer recycled (PCR) aluminium, depending on the model. Since 2018, Constellium said it has worked closely with g.pivaudran to overcome technical challenges, including issues with deep stamping and maintaining either a smooth or brushed decor on the packaging. The collaboration also focused on ensuring the solution\u2019s aesthetics remained intact after anodisation and that the raw material with recycled content remained stable.<\/p>\n<p>Constellium has been producing highly specialised aluminium surfaces at its rolling mill in Singen, Germany, that are unique to the cosmetics industry. To address the challenge of integrating high-lustre finishes with optimal deep-drawing characteristics, Constellium has developed special alloys.
