The line said to be one of only four of its type in the world. EDI\u2019s new sorting system leverages advanced X-ray technology to precisely identify and sort each battery type even when the individual chemistry or label is unidentifiable.<\/p>\n<p>EDI says it is the only player in North America using this technology, which can process almost 500 kg of used batteries per hour. Call2recycle president Joe Zenobio says this doubles the output of a traditional sorting line.
