Through GGGI Indonesia\u2019s Green Transition Investment Program (GTIP), the collaboration aims to lessen the environmental impact of textile waste, endorse circular textile solutions, generate green jobs, and execute training programmes.<\/p>\n<p>Bappenas lately released Indonesia\u2019s Circular Economy Roadmap and National Action Plan, highlighting textile waste management as a priority sector. Priyanto Rohmattullah, Director of Environment at Bappenas, underlined the pressing need to deal with Indonesia\u2019s projected 2.3 million tons of annual textile waste, estimated to increase by 70 per cent without interference. The coloration aims not only to handle textile waste but also to grow a circular textile ecosystem, comprising financial schemes and capacity building for industry stakeholders.
