ReBattery said that global companies often spend two to three months finding the right recyclers in each region they operate in, adding that it hopes to speed up this process.<\/p>\n<p>The platform gives companies the option to compare technologies and pricing between pre-vetted recyclers. The site is now live in \u201cevery major market\u201d and also allows companies to generate and track documentation required by their local jurisdiction.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, technology group Altilium launched an online platform for end-of-life electric vehicle (EV) batteries. The recell.store platform offers an interface for businesses in the UK looking to sell used batteries for recycling or second-life applications. Once the battery packs are collected, they are dismantled and shredded before being processed to recover the critical battery metals, as well as graphite.
