By scaling up its use in food production, the project aims to reduce waste, improve resource efficiency and advance the circular economy. Every year, Sweden generates around 80,000 tonnes of brewers\u2019 spent grain \u2014 commonly referred to as dredge \u2014 most of which is currently used for animal feed, biogas or composting.
