The rSEBS (recycled styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene)-based tires have already started appearing in select LEGO sets and look identical to the tires LEGO has been producing since 1962. Surprisingly, the new tire has also brought to the fore a record LEGO has held for quite some time now; it is the world\u2019s largest tire manufacturer by volume, far surpassing even major tire companies like Michelin, Bridgestone, and Goodyear.<\/p>\n<p>According to Chief Sustainability Officer Annette Stube, the new tire contains at least 30% recycled content, significantly reducing LEGO\u2019s reliance on virgin fossil fuels. It has been in development for over five years to meet the company\u2019s rigorous standards for quality, safety, and durability. The rSEBS tires have already been rolled out and will be featured in 120 different sets by the end of 2025, portraying LEGO\u2019s commitment to the future of play, which must be about creativity and caring for our planet.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2018, it has used biopolyethylene (bio-PE), a durable plastic made from Brazilian sugarcane.
