The European Commission approved the payment of this amount today.<\/p>\n<p>Three integrated waste management centres, built in the Arkadia, Messinia and Lakonia regional districts, will recover recyclable material using mechanical treatment and produce compost with biological treatment of waste. In addition, two waste transfer stations built in Argolida and in Korinthia will support the operation of the integrated waste management centres.<\/p>\n<p>Executive Vice-President for Cohesion and Reforms Raffaele Fitto said: \u201cModern waste management saves resources and reduces both greenhouse gas emissions and health risks for the population.
