Led by the country\u2019s leading electricity and gas distributor Enel and Aeroporti di Roma (ADR), the operator of Rome\u2019s main airports, the PIONEER project (airPort sustaInability secONd lifE battEry stoRage) was recently launched at the Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport.<\/p>\n<p>El Khomri revealed that the batteries are expected to remain operational for at least six to seven years.
