It will increase the resilience and improve the EU&#8217;s ability to respond in a coordinated way to significant incidents that may disrupt essential services in the Internal Market. The Blueprint provides the EU a course of action with measures that Member States can apply when faced with significant critical infrastructure incidents in the sectors of energy, transport, banking, financial market infrastructures, health, drinking water, wastewater, digital infrastructure, public administration, space, and food. Such measures include improving situational awareness, communication and coordination at EU level, and effective response to disruptions.<\/p>\n<p>The Critical Infrastructure Blueprint is the latest measure taken by the EU to enhance the protection of critical infrastructure and its resilience. Throughout the mandate, the Commission has stepped up its efforts to strengthen the protection and resilience of key infrastructure and networks.
