It covers reforms that aim at attracting talent to study and work in Finland, supporting the transition to climate neutrality, and improving the public employment services process.<\/p>\n<p>The request also covers important investments in the areas of renewable energy, digitalisation of transport, and the acceleration of cutting-edge technologies through support for innovative projects. The expansion of student places in higher education and the improvement of national and local research infrastructures to strengthen Finland&#8217;s competitiveness are also included in the areas of investment.<\/p>\n<p>The Commission will now assess the request and will then send its preliminary assessment of Finland&#8217;s fulfilment of the milestones and targets required for this payment to the Council&#8217;s Economic and Financial Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Finland&#8217;s overall Recovery and Resilience Plan will be financed by \u20ac1.95 billion in grants.
